History repeats itself, so they say. If you have kids I guess that's even more inevitable. Here's my good Papa Cooke, and myself at almost one year old, circa 1976.
My Dad and his buddy tandem canoe racing on the Nanty in the Southeastern Nationals 1976. Looks like they got a little spun out at Wesser, oops! I'm guessing that's my Mom's finger across the top of the photo... nice 1970s effect, right?
A simple explanation is that I kayak for a living. That means different things for different people. For me it means I work in the kayak industry and as part of that I do get on the water my fair share. I'm a sponsored paddler for Riot Kayaks, an ambassador for Mion Footwear, a sales rep for Immersion Research, Shred Ready and H2o Audio. On top of that I do video production and photography. Traveling is a large part of what I do. Check out my online video, updated on a once-in-a-while basis at http://effort.tv/SpenceVideo.mov

Wow. I think I've seen you wearing a very similar T-shirt and sunglasses too. You would look good in a moustache.
